Our Vision

Thompson Unlimited (TU) envisions the City of Thompson, Manitoba, Canada as a dynamic and vibrant community which will be the service centre for northern Manitoba.

The Vision includes:

• Growing the City’s population
• Adding to and developing the housing, commercial and industrial land inventory
• A focus on the following sectors to foster sustainable growth and development
  • Education
  • Health care
  • Businesses development, retention and expansion
  • Federal and provincial government services
  • Winter/cold weather testing
  • Tourism

Thompson Unlimited will foster a dynamic business climate by providing support and resources to grow Thompson as a northern center of diverse economic opportunities, and a community having a well-developed quality of life.
